*^&(@#@)$*(&^)!!!

Paid RM200 per month .. and there is no parking space. Even the jockey parking is full. And more and more season parking holders are on their way in. Everyone is cruising through the parking lot from B2 to B5 and up to B2 again and again hoping for a 'miracle' parking lot to zzzap in.

What on earth is wrong with you guys at N*votel ?!?! I would understand if there's an event/function on that particular day but NooOoo.. you said there isn't any. Ended up your so-called jockey parking service PARKED MY CAR AT THE ROADSIDE! till 6pm when I finish my work!!

Might as well I take back my RM200 per month!!!?!! RM200 lehh!!! - Can eat around 50 plates of chicken rice ady!~~

(*@$()@)E#& supposedly reached the office at 9.45am - lor! But by the time, I took the hassle of making several rounds at the parking lot, check out what's wrong, gave up and went on to another parking area nearby only to realize its ALSO full, gave up and went back to the hotel's jockey service, its already 10.40am!! I AM AN HOUR LATE - thank god, there's no coordinator these days - or else, I would already have my half day deducted.

Hmph!..

I want my money back

18 November 2008

That's the remaining annual leaves I'm entitled to till end of the year. Minus off the leaves, my last day at Kelabu Antarabangsa falls on the 18th of December. Plenty of time to take a break before I jump into another shithole (*ahem* ... as Oliviasy put it.. *cough *cough *which I agree *cough *ahem)

To prove that Oli may be right - here's a summary of Moth's past working experience:

Shithole Milestone
2004 - small shithole
2005 (March onwards) - small but deep shithole
2005 (November onwards) - big shithole
2008 - big and deep shithole
2009 - ? ? ?

In conclusion, its a bigger shithole each time. What does that goes to show? Chances are - this time round, it'll be twice the size of the big and deep shithole I'm in right now. Ho ho ho ho ~~ I wonder how long can I survive this time. Come people, start placing your bet!

Steering off a lil' - This coming December marks the end of my 5th year in the web/multimedia/interactive/digital industry. *Gasp*, I survived 5 years! - DOING WHAT I LEARNT in college. I'm so proud of myself~ *self hugzz* .Most of college/uni mates are already OUT of the design field by now~ :pPppppPp

I AM ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO DECEMBER!!

Mama Jill - THIS.. is what happened.

CEO refused to accept my resignation letter (which of course, I checked with HR - and there's no such thing as a company holding up your resignation, so .. f*cked it lar kan?). Explained all the issues I had over the 8 months in the department/company and he came up with this (not-so) brilliant idea of his - I no longer have to report to my superior (the business head of the interactive team). Instead, me and my interactive designers would be placed under the Creative team (the print media), parked under the Creative Group Head, fully supported and protected by Traffics, and moved out of the 'stupid room' which I've been complaining about.

CEO: It's a win-win situation. Not just for you. It's for the Interactive team. What's there to think? This is not the best solution, but good enough to solve all your concerns. You will now have mentorship from the Sr. ADs / CDs / Creative Group Head. You have traffic to oversee all the deadlines and f*cked the servicing ppl for you. You can move out of the room - thus overcome your health problem due to the dust and bad ventilation. 2 months - that's all I need - I will ensure things would be better then. If it doesn't, I would have nothing to stop you from leaving then. C'mon, 2 months - its a fair request.

I personally reckon its a good move.... FOR the interactive team, specifically designers but not me. Obviously, my issues are WAY MORE than just the surface problem he just mentioned. And obviously, there's no way I can talk him out THAT MOMENT - so I told him I will get back to him on my final decision, therefore NOT AGREE-ing to anything yet.

I was ignored-LORR. As soon as I walked out of his room, he told the Traffic, HR and Creative Group Head about moving us out. He even talked to my superior about this IMMEDIATE new restructuring. *no eye see*

I went on talking to HR. She's good. At least she is seeing things from MY perspective. Alot of helpful tips and advise given :) As for my superior, ... well.. . . knowing the CHILDISH him, he starts ignoring me the whole day - colleagues said I am now officially placed in COLDStorage because 1) I resigned - I'm no longer part of his team, 2) I caused the restructuring - thus made him lose his team (technically speaking, its NOT me.. its the CEO), 3) I don't have to report to him anymore, so he doesn't care.

Anyhow of course, my final decision is set. I am leaving. I will leave come January 2009.

However, for the sake of my designers and those who'd be joining us soon, I'll have to 'gao tim' all the talkings, discussions, expectations, managings of the Interactive team with my new boss - the Creative Group Head, and the Traffics AND sit down calmly and talked this out with my old boss whether he likes it or not/wants to see my face or not. Maklum-lar, I very responsible-geh.. I die nevermind.. asalkan my team don't die.

"What about the money issue?", some asked.

Does it matter now?
Win-win situation? Sez who?

Win-win situation? Sez who?

06 November 2008

The nicest templated resignation letter is printed out and sealed in a clean white envelope again. Yup. Its the 2nd time this year.

HR, "Do you think I'm surprised? DO YOU think I should be surprised? I can already see it coming.. (blah blah blah).." (20 minutes)

Moth, "..(blah blah).. its ridiculous.. (blah blah).. very negative vibes around.. (blah blah)"

--------------------
Superior, "Tell me what's the bad news.. (blah blah).. What's the reason? (blah blah blah)... I can tell this is coming. I can read a person's body language... (blah blah blah).." (45 minutes)

Moth, "..(blah blah), when you have a full set of team and better operation flow next time.. who knows I might come back again? (blah blah blah)... I AM selfish.."

--------------------
CEO, "I heard you quit! What's the problem? What's the reason? (blah blah blah)... What can I do to help you? (blah blah blah)..." (less than a minute)

Moth, "I'll come and talk to you when you have time.." *lift door closes*

Resign jeh.. Sai mm sai so many questions ar?
Know my importance leh now? Hahhaha (thick skin)

Nevertheless, the most classic conversation ever:

Superior: If we managed to tackle all the operation issues, will you stay?

Moth: No.. not for now.

Superior: What if you can have a wishlist, will you?

Moth: No.. not for now.

Superior: Okay, let's just say, I handle the projects myself and you stay here to help me. Will you stay?

Moth: No.. . . . . . . *smiles* . . . again, not now.

Superior: *smiles back* Why?

Moth: *smiles back nicely* Because I know how you work, You always have this last minute thing with you *smiles* :D
