Partying in the morning!

Its APRIL FOOL! and its Ching Ming too

Must be a real joke waking up at 5.30am today, drove all the way up to Nirvana Memorial Park at Semenyih just to realize... the road is fucken jam! WHY IS EVERYONE SO EARLY? Its 7 in the morning hey! Our ancestors are probably still sleeping down there .. what a time to wake them up for all the Roast Pork, Chicken, the Bak-Changs and the angku-kuehs, and all other offerings (what heavy breakfast!!) and its ON a nice cooling SUNDAY morning (after last nite's heavy shower), we all should just go back to sleep :P wakakaka - just kidding.. its.. afterall April Fool mar..

I heard firecrackers everywhere in the memorial park. I find it rather (correction:VERY) disturbing, and thanks for contributing to the air pollution index. And to my biggest disappointment, ......... our family lit up firecrackers too *BAH!!* EeSShhhh.... people praying and doing their offerings hoping their respective ancestors may bless their descendants and here we are blasting off the damn crackers so loud, I doubt those prayers are heard. *SIGH*

And I heard people cursing here and there like no one's business. Mostly, due to dumb drivers cutting queues around / parking their car as though its their grandmother's porch area, while some, went mad just because they forgot / couldn't find the exact location of the grave they're looking for. I understand.. it looks the same to me, everywhere.. but still, we don't have to curse that KAO and that loud guar? Ya know, just keep it yourself ler - need not show the world you graduated with Master Degree in Linguistics majoring in Foul Languages (Chinese).

Then of course, the common scene where men just sit around with cigarettes in their hand (as though smokes from joss sticks are not bad enough), looking half dead due to lack of sleep, while the women do all the chores - I guess thats normal - unless they know what they're doing, chances are the more they help, the more messed up its gonna get LoLz *hey hon, do we eat the 'siu yuk' now or pray first?* The problem here is the cigarette butts. Tonnes of it lying around. There's a reason why your loved ones are buried here - because of the fresh air, the nice fengshui, the beautiful scenery - and now *duh* you're spoiling it. Give yourself 10 good slaps.

Gee, shouldn't we be abit more courteous and purify ourselves (and soul) with gracious manners in front of our ancestors / loved ones ON THIS particular day? JUST this particular day? I don't know what all these people are thinking - if you don't mean it, then don't pray. Stop pretending to be filial when all you did is just bowing 3 times and offering joss sticks and doing it just because you have to, cause its Ching Ming (and cause you wanna get your hands on that piece of 'siu yuk' a.s.a.p). Any other Banglas working there as 'jaga' can do that as well. You can curse like hell, drink like hell, smoke like hell any other day but puh-lease, show some respect c'mon - once in a year!
