Snippets
Been heading to the gym for the past few days, almost everyday - alternating between cardio exercises and strength training (weight exercises). Its not neccesary, but I thought .. its good to make it a practice, a habit. There isn't any outcome to speak of (as for now) but, I'm getting used to it and my body's feeling it and that's good enough. Am loving it. It can be addictive and apparently theres more to just working out in the gym. Its not major, but lifestyle seems to be changing as well - who would've thought... that I would:- head to the bed before 11pm, and waking up at 6am in the morning, preparing for gym. You know thats not me. I can't sleep before 12am and waking up at 8am for work is bad enough.
- be taking dietary supplements. BIG TABLETS okay.. and you know how much I "love" tabs, ... x 3 times daily.
- be watching CNN, Discovery, MTV Channels - I don't have much choice in the gym you see, but I gradually got used to watching em'. Weird. MTV Channels? Me, the cina music lover?.. Pfft...
- really read on articles about fitness, diets and nutritions etc. I've been working on FitSync for so long now, I've never really care about the content and guess what? I actually click through every single article now.. how bizzarre.
- actually try to omit chicken skin now. This is absurd. I don't know if I wanna continue doing this. What is chicken without the skin? THE SKIN!! *think KFC*
- really force myself to do that extra 5 minutes / 5 reps in a set. I'm slowly picking up whats 'no pain, no gain' here. Funny, I dunno why I wanna push myself that hard. Something tells me its the steam garlic prawn on October.
p/s: Cute guys/hot hunks in the gym huh? I dunno, too busy to notice :p
