Bangkok Love Story
Thai Film . 2007
written and directed by Poj Arnon

It is the story of a man who falls in love with
a gunman who is assigned to kill him

Just finish watching the movie. Its a good one. Now I understand why Fridae praised the film as "the boldest Thai gay movie to date". Its not about intimacy - THAT is only part of it. Its about how love prevails, how 2 individuals see something in each other. Simple as that. Sounds like an extension to 'Brokeback Mountain'? You go figure it out. I have my answers already :)

Moth a little note:
My my.. I have no idea how clever a two years old kid these days can be. I was impressed by my ex-colleague's son when I went over to his house to 'bai nin' today! The kid speaks well, can recognize most of the objects, can point out what's wrong, even ask you 'what's wrong?', knows how to open the fridge and look for food, can differentiate Shah Alam from Seremban, and much much more~!! 0.0" *faint* (I don't remember me being THAT smart when I was two - must be lack of DHA, AHA, watever-A)

Been watching J-dramas again ahahhah. Thanks to Aunty Jillies~ This time, its 'Bambino' and 'Himitsu no Hanazono'. I like both, but I prefer Bambino cause' there's more cute guys in there ahhahaha *wink* So let's talk about Bambino kakakaka-

Basically, the story is about a young chef who discovers he has much to learn and has to continually prove himself to the very competitive, quick and efficient staff at the upscale Italian restaurant - synopsis taken from DramaWiki

Anyway, let's get into the important points - I don't really like the lead role. SKIP~
I like the Head Chef, Head of Dining Hall and Pasta Chef bwahahaha

I like the Head Chef when he speaks Italian (shouting out the ORDERS) ^^
I like the Head of Dining Hall when he smiles and winks *die!*
I like the Pasta Chef.. so COOL! Kakkoii!!~ XD

Kitamura Kazuki
(plays Yonamine Tsukasa, Head of Dining Hall)
53rd Television Drama Academy Awards:
Best Supporting Actor (Bambino)

How should I put it? Its a love-hate relationship when it comes to this J-Drama. Love because there's so many interesting characters in the story, the food, the dining experience and the restaurant itself. Hate because of the lead role's stupidity that causes alot of trouble (you feel like strangling him all the time!).

And damn it, everytime I watch this drama, I crave for Pasta!

I've been visiting IOI Mall for the past 2 days (the last time I went, it was around 1994 during my Form 2 days.... -.-"). Just so happened, its the closest mall to both my friends' place that has a cinema - yepp.. You guessed it. CNY was so boring, we have nothing to do but opt to go for a movie. Yawnnn*

IOI Mall Day 1 - with Bliss
Bliss wanted to watch 'Meet the Spartans'. Fine, since its just to kill time, I agreed to it. Bought the tickets for RM16. WHoaa damn cheap! The show is supposed to start at 3:20pm. Since it'll USUALLY take 20-30minutes (for ads) before the show starts, we went for a quick bite at A&W
and returned to the cinema at 3:35pm. Damn! The show started ady.. So fine lor... mai watch lorr. At exactly 4:20pm, the show ended... WTF!?! 1 HOUR!? That's ALL!? We paid RM8 per person just to watch an hour worth of ads? (Those who watched it will know what I mean) -.-" No wonder its cheap.. SheesSh.. The supposedly plan to kill time was ruined!!

IOI Mall Day 2 - with Cynikeel
Cynikeel wanted to watch 'KungFu Dunk'. Fine, I'm not a big fan of JayChou when it comes to movie.. but oh well, not like I've got other choices. The show starts at 3.55pm. We went it at 4pm... charantou, the movie STARTED already -.-" (whats wrong with this cinema? No ads wan meh?). It was okay only arr.. Maybe I've got no sense of humour laar.. but I find it abit "無聊" when everyone is laughing their heads off.

Sigh.. Watched 2 movies. None I like. How's that for a holiday break? Sien~

01 February 2008

Went to KLCC today with the team of art directors and designers. We had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen (the artichoke dip is HEAVEN!), then went over to Galeri Petronas for an 'art appreciation' session. Its called - The Independence Project - I so recommend that! Its an interesting exhibition and arts exchange event which portrays how independant artists create and express their work that engages the wider community.

I went for a last minute CNY shopping after that. I dunno if its just me, but THERE's NOTHING to shop this year. Everything look so boring. I gave up after 30 minutes of walking up and down around KLCC. I don't usually go back empty handed after a shopping session but.. memang tarak choice, there's really nothing I would want to buy. Damn sad,.. I know!

So (feeling kinda upset and a little pissed), I decided to go for a haircut instead. Off I drove myself to MidValley and got myself a haircut from my usual stylist at 'A Cut Above'! Looks so much different from the one I had in December (which I so totally regret cause' I went to another hair salon instead *kanasai* have myself to blame) and I like it. Kekeke.. no more spikey hair.. its all loose and matte now. ^o^ Something new for the New Year~ I like my hairstylist ^^

---------
And oh, I tender my resignation ady..
How did it went? Should I say 'smooth' ?
Well, its kind of expected... :|
