Gasp!

Some discoveries made today (well, not exactly larr, more of like these few days). Unbelievable.

1. Graphic designers (well, I'm sure not all larr.. tak mau kena belasah :p) do not know how to save their photoshop file as .png file format. I tried it with one Art Director. She has no clue. I tried it with a visualiser. He's never heard of it. BuBu asked me a question, "...then how do they save something with a transparent background?". Good question. Answer : PSD format lor. GIF? What's gif?

2. Photoshop CS2 (Win) and CS3 (Win) can't open PSD file saved using CS (Mac). Wonderful. How do we share files? Answer : "Uhh, can you please save your psd artwork in a .png format for me? ... No, it doesn't save the layers... but I just want that masthead... So uhh.. yeah.. can you disable your background layer first? I want the transparent background.."

3. "....if you hit the spacebar, the fella jumps". Question from yours truly : ".. uh huh, then what happens if you don't hit the spacebar?" . Answer : ".......... you see, they're not technical person". Question from yours truly again : "Its got nothing to do with being technical or not! Its a logical question!" . Answer : "...... its open to us to work on it how ever we want it". Question from yours truly again~ : "THESE (pointing to the work) does not come from us. Whoever did it should've thought about it!". Answer : ".......... you see, they're not technical person".

*sigh* Vomit blood.

4. It took more than a week for a so-called programmer with a span of 24 years worth of programming experience to fix a VERY SUPREMELY SIMPLE php form - and even THAT is not done as of today. We asked ourselves why? Perhaps it took him 12 years to learn the 'P' from php, and another 12 years to learn the 'H' from php.. and obviously he hasn't got enough time to master the remaining 'P' from php.

5. There's a promo for members at the Sushi King from now till the 10th of April. All sushi plates are at RM2. When the fried ebi sushi are placed on the kaiten belt, we have everyone laying their hands and eyes on the sushi plate like hungry vulture awaiting one's death.

6. An uncomfirmed employee (that's me, uh huh) is about to determine another employee's job confirmation. As RLee put it, "Whoaa, sendiri also belum confirm, already wanna confirm other people ady ar?!" Answer : True.. Didn't realize oso :p

7. Brought my mom to the cinema last weekend (her very first visit to GSC.. wait, what the heck, her last visit to a cinema was like >15 years ago). She 'thought' the entire GSC is a cinema with 1 cinema hall showing 1 movie. She really made herself at home while watching the movie - Talking to me like no one's business "SEE? Told you the real culprit must be him!" .. Mother~

8. Eye Candy has resigned from the company. No! I wasn't stalking him. HE sent out an email to everyone to bid farewell. SO SAD! NO, I did not scare him off! *roll on the floor crying out "NGOR mm ZHAI!"* Oh well, at least I've got his photo on me blog =)
